Step 1
Create the Sheet
Open Google Sheets and create a new spreadsheet. Add the column headers in row 1 exactly as shown below. Each event gets its own row.
Step 2
Publish to web
In Google Sheets: File → Share → Publish to web. Select your sheet tab, choose CSV format, click Publish. Copy the URL it gives you.
Step 3
Paste the URL below
Paste the published CSV URL and click Connect. The app will load your live events and refresh each time the page is opened.

For each event found, collect: event name, category (festival/market/brewery/private/statefair), date, city and state, venue name, entry fee for vendors, contact information (phone and email), application or booking link, special requirements (permits, insurance, restrictions), and an image URL (a direct link ending in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .webp). For contact information specifically — do not stop at the event listing page. For every event where phone or email is missing, take these additional steps: 1. Visit the event organizer's main website and check their Contact or About page 2. Search Google for "[event name] contact email phone food truck vendor" 3. Check their Facebook page if linked — the About section often lists a phone number or email 4. Check their Instagram bio if they have one Only record contact info you can confirm as real — do not guess or fabricate. Only include events that are NOT already in the existing sheet. Compare by event name and city to avoid duplicates. Save all new events as a CSV file called RollingEvents_NewEvents_[today's date].csv in my Documents folder. Use these exact column headers in this order: id,name,category,date_label,date_sort,city,state,venue,lat,lon,link,apply_link,deadline,contact,fee,requirements,image,date_added For the id column use a short lowercase hyphenated version of the event name and city (e.g. atlanta-food-truck-fest). For date_sort use YYYY-MM-DD format. For date_added use today's date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Separate all fields with commas and wrap any field containing commas in double quotes. For the CSV output: leave the lat and lon fields blank for any new events where you cannot find precise coordinates — do not guess or use city-center coordinates. It is better to leave them blank than to enter wrong values. When finished, write a brief completion message in this exact format: "Rolling Events update complete. [X] new events found. CSV saved to Documents folder as RollingEvents_NewEvents_[date].csv. Open the file and paste the rows into your Google Sheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pIkNztvAF-MDCr5za60E-D_Pwy8KmTEiLVFl4KlHmWc/edit — then refresh getrollingevents.com to see the results."
